Here's a link to an interview I did on the True Spies podcast about nuclear weapons and technological disasters. The main topic was "Operation Doorstop," a secret effort in the Eisenhower administration to detect fission weapon parts if smuggled across the border inside Soviet diplomatic pouches. The project was a favorite of FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover.
